ABOUT US

On February 24 at 5.30 am the enemy came to our land, came to our home.

Amid a backdrop of volleys of grenade launchers and the howling of air raid sirens, the panic and tears of our children paralyzed our consciousness.

Kharkiv is a city in eastern Ukraine, which was the first to recognize the merciless blows of the “Russian world”.

We, together with 30 strangers, found salvation in the basement of the fire station building. We became one family, united by the hope for life.

After 9 days of incessant gunfire and bombing by fighter planes, we (3 families with 4 children), without waiting for the organisation of an official humanitarian corridor, evacuated the city on our own.

Five days of a road 2,000 kilometers long, all the while full of despair and fear...

Being safe now, we know for sure that THERE in Kharkov, in the fire station basement, our newly acquired family are still experiencing the pangs of war. And with them, thousands of similar families, sitting in bomb shelters and praying to God for only one thing - their right to life.

THERE are fearless people, firefighters and doctors that we know personally, saving the lives of other people. Sometimes at the cost of their own life...

We want to and can help now. Immediately. And you can too!
